Touring through Wales

Much of the Carneddau and Glyderau Mountains surounding us are cared for by the National Trust. There are more than half a million visitors to this area a year. Some come with an archaeological interest (bronze age cairns, and evidence of iron age and medieval settlements), others for the scenery, exercise and adventure in the outdoors.
